Michelle Mackenzie

Michelle Mackenzie, who holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Queen's University, oversees the operations of Ensight Canada, OEB Enterprise’s Ottawa arm which specializes in high level relationship and communications counsel to corporations, organizations and government.
In this capacity, Michelle has helped spearhead the growth of Ensight Canada since its inception in 2006 to one of the most prominent and highly respected consulting firms in Canada. Particularly, Michelle has consulted extensively in the environmental sector, playing an integral role in 2007’s land withdrawal announcement by the Government of Canada and several First Nations to protect more than 10 million hectares in the Northwest Territories – one of the most significant land decisions in Canadian history.
Michelle joined OEB Enterprise in 1994, following five years at the Ontario Legislature. As Executive Assistant to Ernie Eves, MPP for Parry Sound (and ultimately Premier) she gained extensive experience in policy development, program delivery processes, negotiation and issues management. Prior to working at Queen's Park, she worked in the operations department at Ontario Progressive Conservative party headquarters.
Through her regular contact with senior political and bureaucratic officials and media representatives at both the Federal and Provincial level, Michelle provides OEB Enterprise and Ensight Canada’s public and private sector clients with insight and expertise on the events, personalities and trends that shape public policy process.
An active member of her community, Michelle is Treasurer of the Board of Directors of The Justin Eves Foundation, a charitable organization that funds scholarships for learning disabled, post-secondary students and research into teaching strategies for learning disabled youth. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Trinity Enterprises, which provides workplace training for survivors of Mental Illnesses. Michelle chaired the 2004 Fraser Mustard Awards Gala which raised approximately $620,000 to assist needy public school students in Toronto.
In addition to her MBA, Michelle graduated from York University with a degree in political science and history, and holds an advanced certificate in human resource management from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto.
