Marianne is a highly motivated writer and critical analyst with extensive experience in media, communications, and government relations. Combining a diverse set of creative and technical skills and comprehensive research abilities, Marianne effectively delivers the desired results in any context.
Marianne began her career working as a web developer and technical writer for various educational institutions including the University of Waterloo and Newtonbrook Secondary School.
During her two years at Imprint, the University of Waterloo’s official student newspaper, Marianne honed her journalistic skills as Sports Editor, Columnist for the Arts section, and contributing journalist.
Since joining OEB Enterprise in early 2007, Marianne has delivered effective strategies and tactics to clients in the health, education, financial and transit sectors, as well as to various levels of government, the broader public sector and industry associations.
An experienced event manager, Marianne helped co-ordinate and execute the Ontario Ministry of Public Infrastructure and Renewal’s Places to Grow Summit, an event attended by members of all levels of government.
