Erika Mozes
Senior Consultant
Erika Mozes joined the OEB Enterprise team at the beginning of this year as a Senior Government Relations consultant. Erika brings to OEB Enterprise a fresh and valued understanding of government issues from her impressive career in the Ontario government.
Most recently, Erika served as the Senior Advisor for Issues Management for the Minister of Health and Long Term Care, and Deputy Premier, George Smitherman. Under the McGuinty government, she held a broad range of positions, including Senior Advisor for Issues Management/Legislative Affairs and Caucus Relations to the Minister of Education, Gerard Kennedy; Executive Assistant to the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Health and Long Term Care; and in opposition, as an advisor to Minister Michael Bryant. During the 2007 campaign, she served on the Central Campaign, as a member of the Premier of Ontario’s tour team.
Erika attended the University of Western Ontario, where she studied Political Science, and was very active in student government. Later, she received her post graduate degree in Public Administration from the Business School at Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology.
Erika remains politically active, as well as serves on the board of directors for Peace by Peace. Peace by Peace is a charitable organization which pairs university students at U of T and York to teach conflict resolution in elementary classrooms in the GTA. Currently, she serves as the Executive Vice President of her local provincial riding association, and is the President Elect for the coming year. She has also served as Election Day Chair of her local federal riding, and was active on the federal Liberal leadership campaign for Gerard Kennedy. For her work with her local riding association, Erika was honoured with the Volunteer of the Year Award by the Liberal Party of Ontario, Trinity Spadina, in 2006.
