Elizabeth Aird
Consultant

With a solid grasp of government operations, strong political relationships and a background in promotion, Liz Aird was a valued addition to the OEB Enterprise team in March 2009.

Liz came to OEB Enterprise from the Office of the Premier of Ontario, where she was a Special Assistant in the Operations Department, responsible for coordinating Premier Dalton McGuinty’s roll-out of events. This included regular briefings with the Premier, as well as liaison with stakeholders, Members of Provincial Parliament and the Ontario Provincial Police Security Unit.

Prior to her experience at Queen’s Park, Liz was Public Relations Coordinator for Joseph Mimran & Associates, where she was instrumental in the Canadian launch of the successful Joe Fresh clothing line and the President’s Choice Home Line. This included developing story lines and preparing articles for the publications Loblaw’s Magazine and Insider’s Report, as well as publicity for seasonal products and designs.

Liz also has extensive experience in event management. She has worked for Toronto-based Mandell Entertainment Group, overseeing events on behalf of various organizations, as well as Full Picture Public Relations in New York, where she played a key role in the planning and execution of high profile events including Paul McCartney’s post-9/11 Heroes concert.

Liz is a graduate of Queens University.
